As most of you know, I enjoy working with entrepreneurs and guiding them on their journey.  One of the most common questions I get is about the initial public offering (IPO) process.  To many, it’s a mysterious event that only a select few really understand.

In reality, the going public is complicated, but there are some steps that anyone can understand.  I’ve put together a six episode series to de-mystify the roadmap to an IPO.  The series takes a high-level, easy to understand approach and it’s very light-hearted.  By no means is this a college-level course but it’s hopefully a fun way to wrap your head around what to expect.

In the series, I’ll be taking a fake company, Spivens, Inc. through a public offering.  We’ll see what successes and challenges the CEO, Joe Spivens, and his CFO, Sally Hyde, encounter along the way.  I hope you enjoy, and maybe we’ll dive into related subjects in another series.
